First Valentine's Day!

Friday, Holynd and I spent the day in Payson at my mom and dad's house. She was really fussy and I was trying to get a paper done for school. My mom volunteered to hold her for a couple hours, while I wrote my paper at their house. That afternoon, Uncle McCoy and Uncle Isaac brought home lots of Valentine treats from school! G-Ma made sure that Holynd had her share of treats too! Uncle Isaac was also nice enough to share a few Valentine's stickers with her.

Holynd had a fun day with her G-Ma, Aunt Tevyn and Uncles! She even got to go to Chili's with Aunt Tierra that night! Quite a day for a 7 week old.
When I first found out I was pregnant, I had bought a tanning membership. Well, two days after after buying it, I had to cancel it 'cause of our little surprise! Matt surprised me with a bouquet of roses and a new tanning membership! YAY!

Dogs are funny!

Holynd fell asleep in her chair again today. While she was asleep, her binky fell out of her mouth. Well, she woke up a little frustrated and started to cry. Before I could get to her, Heckles decided he would try and comfort her, so he gave her his beloved bone! (He growls if Matt or I even get near it.) It didn't really make her feel any better, but it was a nice try!

I had to share!

I'm not sure if Holynd appreciated it or not 'cause now her favorite quilt is in the washer.... It's nice to know that the dog isn't totally traumatized by the new arrival!

Bean's New Chair

Last night, I finally told Matt that I HAD to have something to put Holynd in so I can do homework, housework etc. (She has a hard time keeping herself entertained when she's awake.) So we went to Target and bought her this little chair! She loves it! She fell asleep in it, so I had to take a few pictures.

(Yes, you read right, her shirt says "Fashion is my life".)

Her feet finally fit into a pair of her shoes! I was really excited 'cause shoes are the best!

Ok, so the dog whined and cried until I took his picture. Here's Heckles with his new haircut... (Seriously, the dog loves to have his picture taken.)

Ok, two posts in one day, but I had to share this...

So I was reading over past posts... (Holynd fell asleep on her stomach again, so I'm sitting here, stranded on the couch, watching her.) I came across our Madame Zaritska prediction...

Madame Zaritska our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you....

The day you deliver, outside will be windy. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and will be 19-1/2 inches long. This child will have hazel eyes and be almost bald.

Dear Madame Zariska..... Our baby was a girl. Labor took 19 HOURS! She was 6lbs 15oz, 20 inches long with hair. I delivered at 10:56AM. Oh, and her eyes are blue....

Nice try.

PS: You really had my hopes up with the 6 hour labor prediction... I may sue.
