Christmas was magical as always. I can't think of anything more fun than watching your kids on Christmas morning.
This year, we really tried to remind the kids why we celebrate Christmas. We often reminded them that we were celebrating Christ and everything He did for us. I don't know if we made very much of an impact, but hopefully next year they'll be a little more interested.
I did not take a very complete set of pictures from Christmas day. I pretty much snapped pictures for the first 10 minutes we were up and then gave up.
Sometimes some moments just need to be enjoyed instead of documented.
Santa tried something different this year and didn't wrap all the gifts. Most of them were set out and were ready to be played with. The girls woke up first (no surprise there) and immediately started playing. I'm still not 100% sure how long they were in there playing before they woke Matt and I up. Once we were up, we had a really hard time trying to get the kids to open their gifts. They just wanted to play with what they could already see. I think we may have to write to Santa and tell him that this wasn't the greatest idea. At least while the kids are so little.
It was a wonderful Christmas.
