She wore an..

Itsy-Bitsy-Teenie-Weenie-Pink & Yellow-Floral Bikini!!!!!!!!
We went to Seven Peaks for the Fourth of July!
Holynd was so cute in her little bikini!
She absolutely loves the water. She even went in the wave pool and down some slides.
We had a blast! Thanks G-Ma and G-Pa!

This Is What I've Been Waiting For!

Guess who's been eating food!? (Besides frosting!)
Holynd has! And she LOVES it!
Betcha you want to kiss her right now!!!!
When the food gets on the chair.... She licks it off.
Can't let any go to waste! It's too yummy!

Green Beans are just sooooo GOOD!

Ok, so she's hasn't quite got swallowing down yet.

The first day she tried baby food, she gave me a look like...
"FINALLY! This is what I've been wanting! It's about time you guys figured it out!"
I can't believe Holynd is already old enough to start eating baby food. It seems like everyday she's got a new trick she's mastered. She's so much fun!
(Now if she'd only sleep in a crib..... And sleep the entire night.)

So Grown Up!

Alissa and I took Holynd and Livvy to get their ear's pierced!
*
Holynd WAS NOT brave at all. She cried the most heart-breaking cry in the world!
She's fine now though! Still happy and spoiled as ever!
(So spoiled, she refused to take a decent picture for the blog.)

I think those Gorillas might be a good babysitter for a few hours...

G-Ma and G-Pa let us tag along on their zoo trip!
I was a little nervous about the trip, but Holynd had a great time!
Especially since she got to wear a super-cool floppy hat!
Aunt "Twitch" and Holl-e-wood on the Elephant slide.
(Apparently, the little girl in the background was sick of waiting for her turn! She looks a little frustrated!)
This elephant would "sneeze" and blow water on everyone. It was pretty entertaining.

Ok! This picture is a story in itself. From the moment we walked in the zoo doors, Uncle Ike couldn't talk about anything else but riding the train! We walked all over the zoo, looked at everything, had a picnic and even saw the bird show..... All the while, Uncle Ike said, "Now it's time for the train", NINE MILLION TIMES! We finally reached the train... and this little sign was there to greet us.... Needless to say, he was devastated.

These Gorillas were fun! After seeing them, I knew where to take Holynd if she got fussy.
They looked like fairly decent babysitters.

The Bird Show was one of the only attractions Holynd really noticed.
When the birds would fly over the audience, her head would spin so fast we thought it would fall off her shoulders.

Holynd got to ride the merry-go-round with Aunt "Twitch"! I thought she would get scared, but she was really brave.

A bear..... (You can tell I didn't learn much at the zoo....)

I made Holynd wear this big floppy hat. When you have a daughter as "white" as I do, you worry about skin cancer everyday. I bought this hat to keep the sun off her face. It was huge, but what do you expect trying to find a baby-sized hat, last minute at Wal-Mart!

That was our zoo trip!

PS: We call Tevyn, Aunt Twitch because she of how nervous she gets around the baby.
We're pretty sure that if Holynd spent too much time with Tevyn, Holynd would develop a nervous "twitch"!

OK! I May Survive!

Financial aid has been a beast lately. I thought everything would fall into place so I could go to school this summer.... BUT, it looks like it's not going to happen.

So after three days of anxiety attacks over not having any homework for three months, I've finally come to terms with it! (Seriously, I cried. I told Matt that I was going to be stupid because of not having anything to study for the summer!)

Matt understood and immediately whisked me off to the library to get a library card. I've been checking out books and devouring them almost immediately. I'm also getting caught up on some much needing scrapbooking. (There's finally an account of Holynd's birth!)

I'm also reading the Book of Mormon, a goal that's been long overdue! I'm already to Alma. I bet you are all so impressed!

I started keeping a journal. I kept telling myself that blogging and scrapbooking was enough, but it's not. Hopefully I'll be able to stick with it! I keep telling myself that Holynd may love to read my journal, but who knows! All the matters is that fact that I'm making an effort right?!

OH! And thank goodness for Brianna and our long walks! Seriously been a lifesaver!

I thought I was going to die of boredom. Well, not boredom, but lack of being completely overwhelmed everyday of my life! I may SURVIVE!

Matt will just have to get over my hyperactive-newfound joy of reorganizing EVERYTHING in the house. I don't think he would be as worried if I was taller. Everytime I want to organize a closet, he has to help with the top shelves. I keep telling him he has two jobs around the house... 1) Take out the garbages. 2)Handle anything that is up high!

:)

PS! Holynd is over her eye infection and cold! She's a wonderful companion on Brianna and I's walks! As long as we keep a swift pace and I have a binkie on hand, she's content.
