Just Stay Where You Are!

These silver bins sit in my living room overflowing with toys. It started with just a couple of toys, then some books, then all the books, then all the toys. I used to try and sneak the toys back into Holynd's room, but she always brings them back in. My living room is usually covered with toys and I'm ok with that. (Sometimes...)

She can sit here and play with toys for over an hour. Sometimes I'm relieved because I can fold laundry, iron, clean or read uninterrupted. (Or, lately, lay on the couch and try to calm contractions down).

Sometimes I just like to sit and watch her. She reads to herself, plays with her baby or has little tea parties.

I get so excited that this pregnancy is nearing its' end... but then I think, "But if this pregnancy is almost over, that means that Holynd is almost 18 months old... That can't be right! She's still my baby!". I want to just freeze time and make her stay little.

Holynd also loves Ellen. She loves to dance and watch the funny things Ellen does on her show. Yesterday, Robert Pattinson came out. When Holynd saw him she gasped, covered her eyes in embarrassment and said, "WOW!".

Later that night, I told her dad and his response was, "No! No boys!".

Sorry Holynd... No boys ;)
