I Wish I Had The Last Two Hours of my Life Back...

Ok, so Matt and I are not big movie people, especially since Holynd was born. Saturday night we decided that we needed to see SOMETHING in order to still be apart of the outside world.

We rented Quantum of Solace and Doubt.

We watched Doubt first.

After the movie was over, we we're both a little confused....

Tanshyle: Uh....
Matt: I don't get it.
Tanshyle: I don't either.
Matt: Why did you keep waking me up?
Tanshyle: I was hoping if I woke you up you could explain what was going on!
Matt: I'm not a Catholic!
Tanshyle: What was with the fingernails?
Matt: I don't know!
Tanshyle: That sucked.
Matt: I wish I had the last two hours of my life back.
Tanshyle: Me too!

Later that night....

Tanshyle: I'm still confused about that stupid movie.
Matt: Maybe that's the point of it. You "doubt" what the movie was even about.
Tanshyle: Why was that one little boy mad?
Matt: What little boy?
Tanshyle: That one boy!
Matt: There were a lot of boys!
Tanshyle: Did that have something to do with the story?
Matt: I don't know!
Tanshyle: Why are you upset?!
Matt: I'm frustrated at that movie!

Later on...

Tanshyle: I don't think they gave us the whole movie.
Matt: Huh?
Tanshyle: Well, there was so much left unexplained.... Maybe the store didn't give us that other disc or something.
Matt: I don't think so.
Tanshyle: We should've rented Twilight!
Matt: Sure.... Right....
Tanshyle: Next time we stick to movies that we "know" we'll like.
Matt: That's the last time we ever ever ever rent a movie about "doubting" Catholics. Or Catholics in any sort of wierd situation... ever.
Matt: I don't think I put enough "evers" in there.

The next day we watched Quantum of Solace... The James Bond movie.

Tanshyle: This is stupid!
Matt: Why is it stupid?
Tanshyle: They've only spoken ten words so far. The rest of the movie has been fight scenes!
Matt: That's the point.
Tanshyle: Oh yeah... her shirt sleeves just happen to get ripped off during a fight scene! They had to figure out how to make her skanky somehow!
Matt: Yes they did!

Pretty sure that Movie Weekend was a total bust!
