Stress...

I'm stressed.

We're house-hunting. House-hunting is hard. Recent findings have prompted us to think about a larger living situation.

I'm also tired.................... very tired. Forgive me if the blog sees further neglect.

Hopefully we will be back in a couple of days (maybe a week) with good news.

Spring Fever!

This post is about two different kinds of spring fever. The first kind is where we decided that Utah County was WAY too far behind on warm weather so we headed to St. George for warmer weather and swimming! The second is where everyone gets sick over the weekend and we miss a baptism and a birthday party because Holynd is puking everywhere. :) A trip to St. George is pretty simple. We shopped..... and shopped.... and shopped....

and shopped.... and, well you get the idea. ;)

Holynd was awesome on this trip. She got entire bed to herself which she loved. One night after everyone fell asleep she sat up in the dark, looked around and said, "Oh no! Everybody is gone!"

This is Sloane's boat. Holynd nicknamed it 'the boat'. Sloane loved this thing. She would float around the pool until she would start to doze off.

Holynd did so well swimming with her floaties on. She was getting very independent by the end of the trip.

We ate A LOT while we were down there. Maybe that's why I've been so nauseated lately................. maybe.

We've spent the weekend and part of the week nursing fevers and cleaning up puke. No joke. Holynd refuses to throw up in a bucket or bowl. So, whenever she would start to throw up, Matt and I would just have to throw towels down and hope to catch most the mess. It was interesting. But, no worries, I've been bleaching the house and I'm starting to finally feel good about our surroundings again. :) Oh bleach, what would I do without you! Sloane started throwing up yesterday, but I've come to the conclusion that it may just be from eating too many wood chips at the playground. Live and learn Sloanie!

I know you're all wondering...

Why I don't have any new pictures of my kids.... There are a few reasons, but mainly, procrastination. You'll be happy to hear that I have scheduled pictures with Peekaboo Photos and I'm so excited I can barely stand it. I'm doing them for Sloane's birthday, just the girls, no family. (Matt and I can only take so much attention ;) )

I have lots of news to share.... We took a trip to St. George a few weeks ago and it was so warm and relaxing - the girls were hilarious on the trip and enjoyed swimming so much. (I have so many pictures!) I also need to post about the trip Matt and I are planning because I'm oh so excited about it too! Plus, there are some other news and events, but I'm far from a blogging mood lately.

Everytime I wake up and it's gloomy outside, I go into "extended-winter depression" and subtract myself from society.

Don't worry. One day I will find the motivation and will post about all our happenings. Meanwhile, those of you who are praying for more snow, please stop. You're driving me nuts.

Props to you!

Ok, I have to write a little message about formula.

Props to all you formula-feeders out there. Nursing always came easy for me. And, I loved it for that reason, it was easy. I was not prepared for how hard formula feeding was! I can't get the bottle temperature right, I get more formula on the counter then I do in the bottle and I have panic attacks whenever I go out into public because I can't stop wondering if I have all the pieces to our Avent bottles. (THEY COME WITH A LOT OF PIECES!) With nursing, as long as I had my nursing cover, I was golden.

Formula-feeding, however, seems to be a lot more involved then that. However, I am very grateful for formula. I'm grateful that it was there as an option when Sloane started... uh... I'll spare you the details, just know it involved blood and a very VERY long doctor's appointment.

The funny thing is, Holynd took formula all the time. (Well, like once or twice a week when I went to school.) I was just never the one to give it to her. It's a lot of work!

We heard a rumor....

Someone we know is celebrating a VERY special birthday. A big 9-0!

Dear Grandpa-Great,

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Target and picked you out a super-cool toy, but I got a little attached, so I hope you don't mind if I keep it. See you Saturday!

Love, Sloanie-Baloanie

PS: You can have any of my sister's toys though.

We love you Grandpa-Great!
