We've slowly been putting the girls' rooms together. This was Phase Two on the plan for "Get Ready For #3". Phase One was moving.
Holynd is now in a big girl bed, which she loves.... now. When we moved her crib into Sloane's room, Holynd cried and told us that the "crib doesn't go there!" She was even more upset when we moved the big bed into her room. "NO! Where's my crib!?" It was heartbreaking. We had to childproof her doorknobs so that she couldn't get out and since there's no toys aloud in the bedrooms, she had no choice but to give in. Now she's in love. We are taking apart the little toddler bed and putting it in storage. Holynd, for some reason, could NOT stay in that little thing! She would fall out constantly! We decided to give her the other queen-sized bed we had. She's in love. She can sleep upside down, sideways, with her feet on the wall, no pillows, all pillows.... let's just say I feel bad for the man she marries.

I posted this picture just to show everyone why my glass doors are never clean. 'Nuff said.

Holynd and Sloane love the big deck on the back of the house. We spend A LOT of time out there and once my allergies clear up, I'm sure we'll spend a lot more out there. (Husband: Can you put the umbrella up? Please??)

We do have a view now. It's kinda nice. Some people, who will remain nameless, like to come over and spy on the people who camp in Cabella's parking lot.... What weirdos!

It's really nice to eat meals outside. Everything just gets hosed down afterward. I LOVE IT!

And finally........... one of my new favorite things. Oh, I can't believe how much I love this. The downstairs family room is now playroom central. The bedroom area is behind a big closed door, so with that childproofed and a baby gate put up, the girls are pretty much in "Baby Prison" as my mom so kindly calls it. Well, we decided prison wouldn't be complete without a little security. Cameras that is. This baby monitor is amazing. Four cameras in the basement allow us to check on the girls when we're upstairs, without having to walk down the stairs 14 million times a day (oh my little pregnant body is so thankful!). It rotates through the audio on all the cameras and the cameras even have night-vision! This is how we discovered that Holynd was such an erratic sleeper. It also has an intercom system so you can talk through the cameras. As a mother, you can literally have eyes in the back of your head. I love to catch Holynd doing something less then great and call down, "Holynd.... Are you sure you want to do that?!" It keeps my babies on their toes!
We did survive pictures. I love Katie at Peekaboo (Alissa! She says HI!). She was really good with my girls and Holynd loved her little dress-up area with all the headbands and jewelry. The pictures should be here in a week or so! I'm so excited to decorate my bare walls with updated pictures of the girls.
Anywho, I will update soon with pictures from Sloanie's first! She was so cute at her little cupcake party! Oh how I love that little baby.
Sorry for the unorganized, him-hah of a post. I had some pictures I needed to get off of my phone.
