At 34 weeks, I was really far progressed for only being 34 weeks and my doctor was sure I'd go early... (But not too early, he didn't put me on bedrest or anything.)
At 36 weeks, I'd made a little bit more progress, but things had really slowed down. My doctor then predicted that I may go all the way to 39 weeks.
At 37 weeks, I'd made NO PROGRESS WHATSOEVER and so I was told to prepare myself to go all the way into my induction.
This baby is a jokester and I don't like it!
Anyway, everyone should probably be patient because it looks like baby is staying put for 12 more days. I started contracting at 28 weeks this pregnancy and in the last couple of weeks I've had very few contractions. (Does this seem backwards?!)
I've tried everything to induce labor; walk, exercise, sit on my yoga ball, eating spicy foods, eating curry, eating black licorice, cleaning my house from top to bottom, acupressure, etc. I have NOT tried Castor Oil, although my sister-in-law swears by it. She even gave me her bottle... it's sits in my medicine cabinet and haunts me everytime I open the cabinet.
In the meantime, Holynd is just as crazy and fun.
She got into my makeup and put on her own lipstick. Very beautiful!
She loves to eat with her own spoon and so I let her have her own bowl of yogurt. She was in heaven for the first ten minutes... until she decided she could do better without the spoon. (I'm not sure what was up with this face, it was early).
She just started licking it right out of the bowl.
Holynd is also an official nursery-goer. She LOVES it. They let us sneak her in early since she wasn't supposed to start until the 27th... and that's the day we're having a baby. It's been really nice being able to sit next to Matt in Sunday School and actually listen to the lesson in Relief Society. :)
Jump on the tramp! I had Ty the next day :)
ReplyDeleteWEll if you find anything that works let me know! My induction isn't set until July 23rd! LAME! YOu are so close!
