And they just start piling on...

I've put on my first four pounds.... OK FIVE! FIVE POUNDS! It's wonderful because it means baby is growing and my body is learning to accommodate yet another baby. However, NO ONE likes to see the numbers on the scale slowly getting bigger. At this point in Holynd's pregnancy, I was closing in on my first 15 pounds... so I think it's safe to say that this pregnancy is a little different ;).

I'm still exercising, but have had to cut back a little bit. It's hard to get all your muscles-sore and tired when the pregnancy is causing that on it's own.

Holynd keeps us very busy these days. She's walking everywhere and eating everything.

Latest news: THE BINKIE IS OFFICIALLY GONE!

I had a goal to get rid of it shortly after I weaned Holynd. I only let her have it in her crib and then slowly stopped giving it to her. She seems fine without it, however, she's finding all sorts of substitutes like.... Her sippy cup: She walks around with an empty sippy cup in her mouth; or Outlet covers: If I take off an outlet cover to vaccum etc, I have to put it up high or I catch her with the prongs in her mouth like a make-shift binkie. She doesn't get too upset when I take the substitutes away. I'm hoping she'll forget all about the comfort of the binkie before Unborn-Baby-No-Name gets here and has her own binkie.

Holynd is talking up a storm. She doesn't pronounce everything correctly, but it's bliss being able to hear her communicate. Her latest word is: ball. She loves her pink ball. She chases it around and loves when people play "keep-away" from her.

She's also developed a new fasincation with pushing our dining room chairs around the kitchen. I used to get upset, but then I figured... exercise! So, she pushes away until she gets too tired to even walk.

Holynd most precious new habit is her ability for fold her arms for prayer. Every morning before Matt leaves we sit down for a (very short) family prayer. Holynd folds her arms and bows her little head. It only lasts three seconds and then she's crawling all over us for the duration of the prayer. (She thinks it's funny to "honk" Matt's nose while he prays). She also loves to give kisses and make a big "MUAH" sound.

In Unborn-Baby news: this little one is kicking up a storm and now occupies most of the stomach. However, I'm still really comfortable and I am still able to put on my own shoes and shave my legs. (YAY!) I'm trying to eat healthy, but my cravings are kicking up. However, unlike Holynd's pregnancy, greasy comfort foods DO NOT SOUND GOOD! I'm really into fruits and veggies. My favorite meal is a bowl of Cheerios with a huge pile of strawberries and blueberries on top. I also LOVE the occasional sour candy treat... YUM!

This pregnancy is going by really fast and I'm trying to savor every minute I have with Holynd. Sometimes I feel like were cheating her out of her time with us and it's hard to try and explain to Holynd what is going to happen in a few short months. I get discouraged because her little world will change so drastically when the new baby comes. But! I few silent prayers always make me feel better. I'm constantly reassured that this baby needs to be with us now.
