50 Things About Us....

This weekend was really quiet and so we decided to post 50 random things about us. We tried to think of things that people may not know!

1. We call our baby Bean because of the way the baby looks in the 7 week ultrasound pic.
2. We could probably spend $500 at FYE on cartoon collection DVD's.
3. I drink a gallon of milk every other day because it helps my heartburn. (I sent Matt out for more milk last night at midnight.)
4. The first movie we watched together was High School Musical with 10 girls that had Downs Syndrome. It was one of the funniest dates either of us had ever been on.
5. I make Matt help me put my outfits together when I go places.
6. I have a fetish with Sim games. (SimCity, SimTower, SimAnt, SimFarm etc.)
7. Matt has a secret fetish for wrestling games. (He knows all the moves by name.)
8. I was in Jr High when Matt got home from his mission.
9. I bawled when we got married and Matt shed one tear. (We still argue about this all the time. Matt states he cried more then that, but the jury is still out.)
10. Matt attended a Baptist School for three months during 9th grade.
11. My parents think that I was the ugliest newborn in the world. (They told me I looked like The Joker from Batman.)
12. Matt's newborn footprints are half the size of my feet now.
13. Matt was bit by a monkey in Brazil.
14. We ate Wendy's Happy Meals by candlelight the night Matt proposed.
15. Our first date was at IHOP.
16. Matt always wants to buy TGIF Potato Skins when we go to the grocery store, but is too cheap to get them. (They're like four dollars for a box of four!)
17. We have an ongoing fued about which book series is wierder... Twilight or The Wheel of Time.
18. The dog likes me better then Matt 'cause I feed him whatever I'm eating.
19. I made Matt sleep on the couch by me with the hall light on for a week 'cause I had a nightmare about IT the Clown.
20. Matt has to help me shave my legs 'cause my tummy is too big.
21. Matt always forgets to shut the oven off after he uses it.
22. Our dog has more toys then most children.
23. Matt is a crossword puzzle whiz.
24. Matt's favorite band is Incubus. (We saw them at Usana when we were dating.)
25. My favorite band is Nirvana.
26. Matt took me to my first concert. (Warp Tour 2007!)
27. I've been to Thriller every year for 6 years.
28. Matt surprised me with Thriller tickets last year and pretended he really didn't like the show even though he did.
29. The people that walk around dead at the Thriller shows freak me out!
30. I can't watch any scary movies or go to Haunted Houses. Matt loves both and makes the sacrifice for me.
31. Matt won the State Championship Basketball Tournament when he was a senior in high school.
32. I talk to my mom three times a day.
33. Matt talks to his mom once every two weeks.
34. We wanted to see Flight of the Conchords live so bad that we bought our tickets off Ebay (for way too much) and flew to San Francisco. (We also went to Disneyland after.)
35. Matt cried when we found out about the baby and I didn't.
36. We named our dog Heckles after Mr Heckles on Friends.
37. If we weren't going to have a baby, we'd get another dog and name him Treeger. (After the superintendent on Friends)
38. Matt loves to fly and I hate it.
39. Matt loves to travel and I am a homebody.
40. Matt went to Thailand with his friends just for fun. (It was their second choice after Madagascar.)
41. I can sew. I own a sewing machine and I make pillows and wall hangings for fun.
42. I made Matt take me to get the last Harry Potter book at midnight the night it came out. (Ok, and Breaking Dawn too.)
43. Matt and his roomates had a pet Chicken named Nancy Sue. She would come to you when you clapped.
44. Matt owns our condo and I don't so if he dies or gets mad at me I could be homeless.
45. My mom thinks Matt is the best baby namer.
46. Matt thinks that my mom hates him and is totally intimidated by my dad. Even though my dad is six inches shorter then Matt.
47. I absolutely HATE surprises. If I know someone is planning a surprise for me I cry until they tell me. (Which is one of the reasons I can't stand not knowing if we're having a boy or a girl.)
48. Matt and I like to play Speed. We both hate to loose. (I am the Champion Speed Player though.)
49. I leave Matt notes from the baby when I need stuff. (ie.. Groceries, Clothes, Money for lunch etc.)
50. We worked in buildings that were right next to each other for a year and never met.
