Maddox is only 8 months old, but I can already see A LOT of differences between boys and girls. I spent the morning sewing the ties back on Maddox's crib bumper. At first I accused Sloane of ripping it off, but after seeing how Maddox treats his crib bumpers, I have no doubt it was him. Don't get me wrong, the girls ripped a few of theirs off too... They were just almost two years old by the time they did it.

The other day, I had put everyone down for naps (Holynd was having quiet time). The house was silent. All the sudden I could hear this loud "Thump thump thump!" I thought Sloane was kicking her wall. I ran downstairs and stood by her door.... Ya know, so I could catch her in the act.

Silence.

Hmmm......

I went back upstairs and... "Thump thump thump thump thump!" There it was again! So I grabbed my monitor.

Sloane was fast asleep.

"Thump thump thump thump!"

It must be Holynd.

Into the theater room I go, but Holynd has fallen asleep.

So, I went outside. Surely one of our gates was open and was hitting against the house.

Nope. Nothing.

I walked through the garage to come back in the house and I could hear it in the garage!

What is going on?!

So, I decide to check on Maddox. I expect to find my little angel baby sleeping peacefully....

Nope! He's kicking the side of his crib so hard that the crib is hitting against the wall.

And, he thinks it's hilarious!

Sometimes I can't believe the stuff he's able to accomplish. He throws toys across his room, tries to kick his crib rails out, pulls his sisters hair and LAUGHS, he's even managed to pull most of the stuffing out of a teddy bear and tear a diaper into pieces.

Boys are very destructive.
