"Mine Baby!"

It's getting harder to update now that Sloane is here, but here's a brief update of our 4th of July and other random things.

Grandma Kathy surprised Holynd with her very own baby a couple of weeks ago. Holynd goes back and forth between loving the doll and hating it. It can actually move and make cooing sounds, but it freaks Holynd out! She backs away and hides until the baby stops making noise. We have to keep the doll turned off. Holynd likes to put the "real" baby things on the baby. So, Sloane has had to lend out a few receiving blankets, bibs and hats to the doll. She calls it, "Mine Baby!".

Holynd is finally warming up to her little sister. They're definitely sisters. They get upset when the other one is crying. Holynd runs to Sloane and yells for me when Sloane starts to fuss. I can't wait to see them together as they get older. (This picture makes me laugh because Sloane is so much darker then Holynd. I forget how fair Holynd is.)

We took the girls to the Lehi City fireworks. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out, but it was a lot of fun. We sat in the back of Matt's truck with lots of treats and watched the fireworks. Holynd LOVED it. She had a little bit of a sugar high and jumped all over during the fireworks. We couldn't get her to hold still. People who were nearby kept laughing at her.

(We've lost all hope for getting rid of the binkie. If Sloane has her binkie, Holynd HAS to have hers. I have no idea what to do.)

Sloane sat in the backseat and slept through the whole thing.

P.S. My baby only wakes up twice a night to eat. Jealous?
